.the arrival.

Today was my first day!! And to be quite honest, it still hasn't hit me. This morning on the train, I thought to myself "This is the beginning of the rest of your life." This is just the start of my career! There's so many places and steps that I will come across and that's super exciting! I'm basically the backbone of my department which I love because I will get to network with everyone which always a great thing. My days are going to be long but that's ok because I am doing something that I actually enjoy rather than something I'm just doing to make money. The people at the office are really great and super friendly. They kept encouraging me to ask questions, though I didn't have much because I take crazy notes, and they kept letting me know that they are there for me. The support is great. I'm so happy to be in another environment where I have support from those in higher positions. It's really motivating. I have so much to prove in these next months. I can't be complacent. This is just the arrival. I'm in the door now, all I have to do is make my mark, use my charm, and keep going. This is what I always dreamed of.
