.is it truly?
`i've heard recently actually that the grass isn't always greener on the other side but i'm curious to know why that is. of course here is where i input my opinion lol. i think that people experience the "not so greener" because mentally, they are still on that initial side of the grass. once you've dealt with something for a long period of time, something in the back of your mind will never fully be able to let that go. you will still hold onto the "what if" or "maybe" of the situation changing. people get comfortable in their ways of doing things and change may too scary for them. i admit, change is definitely a scary thing. it requires A LOT of confidence. confidence in what you are doing is right, confidence in yourself since you now out of your comfort zone.
i think once you cross that fence you have to have an open mind. realize that you are making a change, so things aren't going to be like you are used to or even what you expected. you just have to take things one day at a time and let it add onto the experience of your life. think positively. things will get better.

You are 100% on point with this post.
To me, it doesn't matter whether the grass is in fact greener on the other side of the fence. It's still just grass.
When you get into any new situation there are going to be pros and cons, like anything else. People lose sight of that, and some people expect that something new is always going to be better, and some expect it to be worse. Taking the chance does not guarantee a result in either direction.
